Trace Adkins Knoxville Concert reviews
go for TOOL (like 90% of everyone did)
I have no idea what's up with anyone prior, because I arrived during Alice in Chains' last song (and it was okay). Great music, decent voice, but not really them. I felt I was watching a karaoke of Alice in Chains. Linkin Park was somewhat disappointing actually. They got booed quite loudly after their five-song set when Chester (the singer) brought out his band 'Dead by Sunrise.' I've seen them live and they're pretty energetic, but this crowd was not having it. Before that, Linkin Park also had some sound problems, but I felt they managed well enough. Trace Adkins took the stage by the time people probably forgot everything that happened before and enjoyed the visuals, lasers, and sounds. From where I was (dead center, 75 feet from the stage), the sound was pretty crappy, but the crowd more than made up for it. If anything, I'm glad I got to see TOOL live before they're gone for a while, even if it was 90% of the same show I saw in Las Vegas in December 2007. I took my friend for his birthday (he loves Linkin Park and had never seen TOOL live) and he enjoyed TOOL a lot more.
